Medical Students
The Practice teaches medical students from Cardiff University. Our Care Navigators will inform you when you arrive for your appointment if medical students are placed in the practice. We will ask for your consent if a student will be present during your consultation. We are very grateful to our patients for allowing a medical student to be present during their consultations. However, should you rather not have medical students present during the consultation please let us know at any time during your consultation. The students understand patients sometimes would prefer a student to be asked to leave. Please note that medical students are bound by the same code of medical ethics as the staff and doctors at the practice.

Care Navigation and Administration
Care Navigators provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists/Care Navigators make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.
